I am a computer scientist by training — formal methods, model checking, the mathematics of proving that a system does what it claims — and a founder by choice. I am the President of Fucina Nexus Foundation ETS, a non-profit in Rome that builds shared infrastructure for new ventures, and I work closely with the thirteen ventures of the Fucina Nexus Program.

That work produces a steady stream of questions the day-to-day cannot answer: why coordination is getting cheap and trust is not, what happens to institutions built on the cost of verification, how value should flow when AI agents do part of the work, what a sovereign economic actor is. exfucina is where I take those questions at their full length.

Three places, three jobs. drdavide.com is my biography and publication record. The Foundation's portals say what the Foundation does and commits to. exfucina holds my own reasoning about the domains underneath both — and it carries my signature alone.

Everything here is written by me. When I adapt a passage that first appeared on a Foundation portal, the essay names the source page and the dates, and it is republished as my argument, with the status I give it.
